How to cancel phones and internet?

We have had no internet for 10 days. We want to cancel our contracts. We visited the sfr shop in Perpignan who told us we had to phone 1023. We have phoned 1023 several times; it's difficult to understand on the phone as my French is not perfect. One operator told us to cancel on espace client on the internet. We have just tried to do this but were told we had to phone 1023. We were given a postal address!!!!!! Can anyone off any advise?

This was indeed a very good piece of advice, since on the web you can slowly read the French actions to reach cancellation, or even use an automatic webpage translator.

Did you really use the link to cancel your plan from the "espace client" on the web?

  • This link is labelled "Résilier" (meaning to terminate contract) and is present nearly on every SFR web page, in the column "Espace client" at the bottom in the black footer.
  • The French low enforce that this internet cancellation procedure must be done in 3 clics, so I can't understand that you would have to make a phone call to 1023.

There is something I don't understand in what you describe.
