Connection loss every day

Salut, good day,

 

unfortunately every day my fibre connection from SFR looses its connection for a couple of minutes. After a while, it reconnects.

 

Can anybody help me to avoid these errors ? What can be the reason?

 

We use the SFR Box THD 4K via coaxial cable (fibre).

We use the SFR Box THD 4K via coaxial cable (fibre).


To be precise, the SFR Box THD 4K

  • is not what is legally named "fiber" in France (relating exclusively to FttH, full optical fiber) 
  • this box is related to the FttLA technology (which is an hybrid with optical fiber, terminated by coaxial cable, like cable-TV).

Can anybody help me to avoid these errors ? What can be the reason?


Hard to say... It could be many reasons.

 

Could you provide (copy/paste) your frequencies list? (visible at http://192.168.0.1 then

  • in French : onglet RÉSEAU > Paramètres avancés > Fréquences câble
  • could be in English something like: tab NETWORK > Advanced parameters > Cable frequencies

It would be interesting to get all these frequencies when it works... and also when it fails.
