Why are termination fees so high?

Hi, I am wanting to move to Orange because they will give me fibre. SFR say they cannot.
The calculation fee on MYSFR says 546 euros!
This is a 12 month contract with 7 months to go, I pay 33 a month.
Can you please explain how the calculation can be 646 euros?

Hello @davidjo01,

First the amount which is taking into consideration for the calculation of your fees is the amount of your current offer without the possible discount.

Secondly you might also have some option or bouquets on which you are also engaged.

Thus your termination fees can easly became more important than what you can expect.

I recommand you to call 1023 with a french speaker if you can and to ask the details directly to a counsellor.
